The Hillcrest Farmers Market - hosts 175 weekly vendors offering a wide variety of locally grown in-season fruit, produce, gifts, arts and crafts, and flowers. Many of the local California farmers participating in the market grow their produce organically or with no pesticides. The market also hosts a large variety of prepared food and hot food items with an emphasis on international cuisine. Additionally, each week, there are a large number of arts and crafts vendors participating, as well as weekly entertainment. Located at the corner of Normal Street and University Ave, this market is open every Sunday 9am-2pm. Serves the communities of Hillcrest, North Park, University Heights, Bankers Hill, Normal Heights and more!
La Jolla Open Aire Market - now in its 20th year, has cultivated the finest local farmers, artisans, and food vendors to make up one of the best and the biggest Farmers Market in San Diego. Each Sunday nearly 140 + vendors participate in the La Jolla Open Aire Market providing shoppers with bountiful choices in fresh, locally grown produce, international food, and unique handcrafted arts and gifts. The La Jolla Open Aire Market is fun for the whole family, come picnic on the field, enjoy the weekly musicians, and participate in our family fun days! Located at the corner of Girard St. & Center Ave., at the La Jolla Elementary School this market occurs every Sunday from 9am to 1:30pm, rain or shine.
